Music intro / simple original tune / ending.
Say the reference. Sing the verse word for word perfectly from the King James version of the Bible 3 times through. Say the reference.

Don’t get too fancy. Sometimes singing in a round or doing too much in the background makes it difficult for children to figure out what the verse actually is. Harmony is nice.

Remember your audience. You are composing songs for 6 to 11 year olds. All songs should be something Mom would be happy to let little Suzie go to sleep listening to over and over and over.

Equipment that we use:
Keyboard with lots of background beats. Good microphone. Mixer. Good sound card. Computer. Sonic Foundary Acid Pro 8.0.

The songs will become property of Colorado Dove Net, LLC. They may or may not be included in the JBQ Workout CD set. (The intention is that they will be included, but sometimes it is necessary to cut a song from the list.)

How many songs would you like to compose?
How many hours do you think it will take you to get them done?
(In our experience it takes ½ to 2 hours for an experienced musician to do one song depending upon the scripture.)
